Rod Network Conveyor Belt

Rod Network Conveyor Belt, also known as an enrober belt, is made of highly elastic and flexible stainless steel wire. It features a single-layer structure, making it lightweight, and is driven by sprockets. This type of belt is usually designed with a single edge, while double-edge construction is used for special applications. Flights can also be added to the belt surface. It can be used for straight running as well as 90-degree and 180-degree turning applications.

Overall belt width

Total width refers to the overall width dimension of the metal mesh belt, measured from one edge to the other.

Pitch

Pitch refers to the vertical center-to-center distance between two adjacent spiral wires. A larger pitch results in larger mesh openings and improved ventilation; conversely, a smaller pitch creates a denser mesh belt, making it suitable for conveying small products.

Wire diamete

Wire diameter refers to the diameter of the spiral wires and connecting rods that constitute a Type B mesh belt. A larger wire diameter results in greater load-bearing capacity and wear resistance; conversely, a smaller wire diameter renders the mesh belt lighter and more flexible, making it suitable for light-load or precision conveying applications.

Loop width

“Narrow edge width” refers to the dimensional width of the spiral loop sections located at the two side edges of a Type B mesh belt.
