Flat Wire Conveyor Belt

Flat wire belt is made of cross rods and flat strips (plates). The belt edge can be welded or clenched.Side guards and flights are available. It is easy to maintain and clean, with a long service life.

Features:

  • Flat and smooth conveying surface to carry unstable products.
  • Large open area for free airflow or water drainage.
  • High strength to ensure higher load capacity and tensile strength.
  • Low maintenance, easy to clean and install.

Required Parameters for Customization:

Rod Pitch

The pitch of a Great Wall conveyor belt refers to the center-to-center distance between two pin shafts, measured along the direction of conveyance. A larger pitch facilitates superior heat dissipation and drainage; conversely, a smaller pitch results in a more compact structure and more uniform support, making it suitable for conveying small items.

Belt width

The distance between the centerlines of the two side chains is a critical parameter for determining the effective width of a conveyor belt. The greater the center distance, the wider the mesh belt, and the higher the conveying efficiency.

Spiral pitch

The distance between the centerlines of the two side chains is a critical parameter for determining the effective width of a conveyor belt. The greater the center distance, the wider the mesh belt, and the higher the conveying efficiency.

Strip thickness

“Plate thickness” refers to the thickness of each individual metal slat within a Great Wall conveyor belt. The magnitude of this thickness is directly related to the weight of the product being conveyed; for heavier products, the plates are made thicker to ensure greater load-bearing capacity.

Rod diameter

A crossbar refers to a metal rod that passes transversely through each individual plate of a brick-pattern conveyor belt; its function is to connect and secure the entire structure. Generally speaking, the thicker the crossbar, the greater its load-bearing capacity.

Bottom Opening Width (Inner Gap)

The bottom opening width refers to the inner gap between adjacent vertical plates at the lower section of the belt.

Top Opening Width

The “upper opening width” of a Great Wall-style mesh belt refers to the internal width measurement at the top opening of the belt. A wider upper opening is suitable for conveying larger-sized products, whereas a narrower upper opening is suitable for conveying small particles or materials prone to falling through.
